Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters have finally begun their corruption upon the wizarding world. Wizarding Families; ambitious, noble Purebloods mostly; are lining up behind Voldemort with the hopes of completely overthrowing the Ministry and the Ministry's acceptance of Muggle-born witches, wizards, and other unworthy creatures.
Albus Dumbledore and the Order are upon the opposing side. Defending not only the rights of Muggleborns and Magical Creatures, but by educating and accepting them as personas of magic.

The Marauders are starting their Sixth Year at Hogwarts. Each has started to mature in their own way. For James Potter, it is coming to grips with the fact that his charming looks and popularity status are not what a certain Gryffindor Red-head is interested in. For Sirius Black, it is coming to terms that his playboy ways and lack of understanding will never land him a young lady that enjoys his company. Remus Lupin of course being the most mature of them all has to deal with maturing to a level of high self confidence despite his 'furry little problem'. And as for Peter Pettigrew, well somethings are better left unsaid.
Each boy knows that outsides the safe haven that is Hogwarts, a War is on the horizon. All four already deciding where and who they will stand by in the upcoming battles of the future. But for now, they have to survive the tides of hormones, magical rivals, lessons, quidditch, and each other.
