The time is July, 1979. In Britain, a prophecy was made about a child who would one day save everyone caught up in the terrible war waging around him- but the prophecy fell on the wrong ears. The Dark Lord Harry was supposed to defeat got wind of the prophecy, and using those loyal to him, he seeks to destroy every possible child the prophecy could be alluding to, and unfortunately for us, he succeeds.
Harry Potter will die. So will Neville Longbottom, and countless other children born in July. It's a dark chapter in a darker war, and the grieving parents are left to carry on the fight or give up completely. Friendships will be strained, marriages broken, and lives shattered as everyone is left to decide whether they have the courage to keep fighting, or if Voldemort will destroy the world as we know it.
In these times, the world is the last thing from peaceful. It's 1997, and the wizarding world is at the brink of war. While the Order of the Phoenix struggles to gather in numbers, Voldemort is also building his army and plans to return stronger than ever. His Death Eaters are wreaking havoc, both in the wizarding and muggle worlds, instilling fear in those that oppose him. Nothing is certain for the trio as they attend school for their sixth year. Even their hope in Hogwarts is jeopardized by Draco Malfoy, whom they suspect is now a Death Eater. Unfortunately their suspicions are right, and Malfoy is helping Voldemort and the other Death Eaters gain access to Hogwarts through a Vanishing Cabinet. Their ultimate goal is to kill Albus Dumbledore and bring Harry to Voldemort. Will the wizarding world fall to ruin, or will good conquer evil, once and for all ?

Finding out that his doppelgangers blood is the key Klaus has now prepared himself with the plans of making his hybrid army. Finding out that Stefan lied he forced the ripper to obey him, compelling him to do as he was told to do. Who knows whats in store for Elena and Stefan as he pushes her farther away as her relationship with Damon has been declared. Finding he's changing more and more each day Damon will stop at nothing to keep Elena alive.
Now new players are being brought into play as Mikael is making his return to Mystic Falls, ready to take down the hybrid and put an end to the species hes begun creating. Tyler Lockwood has been battling the emotions of welcoming his vampire side. Dealing with having feelings for Caroline but being rejected by her over the summer has but his feelings for her on ice.

The Wizarding World pf Great Britain is moderately peaceful. There are no great wars nor oppressive powers but there's always calm before the storm. The Ministry of Magic is having trouble controlling some of the rebellious political parties that have different ideas on how the British Wizarding Community should be run. The Magical and Liberal party is particularly troublesome as they insist on organizing marches to support their ideas, halting several of the services provided by the Ministry to the Wizarding public. The Mighty Republic of Magic, usually a pacifist sort of group, has been causing scandals with its extremist ANTI-MUGGLE and ANTI-MUGGLEBORN opinions. This party claims that these so-called members are not affiliated with them and are, instead, rumored to be part of a secretive group called: the Knights of Walpurgis. Known Knights have denied these allegations but who is to know the truth when things have stopped being black and white and turned to gray?
